Selfless Exceptionalism
I had been speaking to corporations on the topic of the Mindset of a Champion for 35 years. It resonated with every industry. And then all at once the Lord revealed that there was something missing. Fulfillment. Being a champion for many has caused heartache—the goal reached left them empty. It’s been said, “the saddest day in life is when you reach your goal and it lets you down.”
The Lord gave me the missing word and it has made all the difference—Selfless. Then He gave me the word greatness with a small “g.” I was intrigued and pressed in. All I had seen from the world was G.O.A.T.—all caps. Then the treasure arrived through scripture. “The greatest is the servant” (selfless) and “do your work as if to the Lord”(exceptionalism). When he invited me in to this greater wisdom, I discovered the secret to fulfillment—the missing piece from my life’s work and message.
greatness is the message and calling on each of our lives. God showed me that greatness is defined as “selfless exceptionalism.” Being the best you can be with the gifts and talents He has given you for the purpose of making the lives of those around you better. greatness with a small “g” says it all. As this new year opens the door for new beginnings, make that shift in your heart and mind and watch what happens. It will be explosive to say the least. It has been for me. I love how God leads us to the true treasure…
