The Greatest Word Ever Spoken
“All hope was lost. The hope of the world was dead. It was the darkest time in the history of the world. Hell was celebrating.
It was during this moment that a young woman went for a walk in a garden. Her instincts—her Spirit led her one step at a time. She was alone as the first light of dawn. She could barely see the forms around her. And suddenly there was another. And then he spoke…”Why are you crying? Who are you looking for?”
As she began to speak, it happened. The man interrupted her. The greatest word ever spoken came, “Mary.”
In that glorious moment she heard her name spoken from a familiar voice. The same voice that she had heard many times before. The way he said it. The enunciation. The love behind it. It was the voice that had spoken healing to her years before when she was an insignificant nobody tormented physically, mentally, and spiritually by the insatiable evil of darkness that Jesus came to destroy.
And in that word, “Mary”, Jesus revealed that he was alive, death was defeated, and the world was forever altered. Hope was alive. That moment literally sealed the deal for eternity. Can you even imagine…
If you listen carefully, with a heart of faith, you will hear as well. He will call you by name. And when you hear it, you will experience that same moment. And in that moment you will know—your world just changed for eternity—your true destiny will be birthed. Heaven will visit earth through you. And oh the adventure you will have.
And that is why we call this day “good Friday.” It was the set-up for the greatest word ever spoken. Bless you all my dear friends!
