Invasive

We first started coming to Utopia 45 years ago. It has amazing hills and springs. Beautiful oak and cypress trees line the hills, and the crystal-clear Sabinal River runs down the valley. One cypress is estimated to be over 800 years old, and hundreds are in the 500 range.

It’s been said that back in the 30s, an invasive species entered the Texas Hill Country. It began as a windbreak brought in by the German immigrants. It is the juniper tree we call cedar. What started as a few trees has now infested the Hill Country and overtook the landscape. Besides acidifying the ground with its needles, a mature cedar soaks in about 30 gallons of water daily. The river is dry and has been for years. The cool, pristine springs have stopped flowing. The ancient cypress is being devastated. Invasive species are insidious that way.

For over 100 years, there has been an insidious invasion of our country. It has been planned and architected by evil and for evil. America has been the crown jewel of the world. All the other countries were used as target practice for the move to radically transform the US. They no longer are hiding it. The rivers of life and springs of hope are suddenly drying up, and people are in despair. How could we have been so blind, we say. The reason is that we never thought much about the silent war that came as an infestation. We were too busy looking at bombs and bullets and bloody external wars instead. All the while, there has been an all-out invasion within.

That’s where we are…but God. God sees all, and He hates evil. Be looking for His vengeance and fury. It will wake up the world and be of Biblical magnitude. It will cause evil to fall in terror and others to fall in awe. We will all fall; it is just a matter of who is awake at the time as to terror or awe. When it’s over, the springs flow again, and the River of Life will be the source. Take heart, pray, stay strong, and join in the battle with the King of Kings for your country and your children. Awe is on its way.

"Your almighty hands have captured your foes. You uncovered all who hate you and you seized them. When you appear before them, unveiling the radiance of your face, they will be consumed by the fierce fire of your presence. Yahweh’s flames will swallow them up.
