Cosmic Beatdown
I felt something extraordinary this week. It’s been a long time since I have experienced it. A long, hard winter had passed, and the daffodils were breaking through the melting snow. It was like walking home from the final day of elementary school to my collie, who instinctively knew that the next two months would consist of exploring the woods and meadows together from sun up to sun down. It was like waking up feeling well after a 40-day touch-and-go fight with Covid. Wednesday morning brought a breaking. Beyond our current comprehension, something huge happened in the heavenlies and fell on America’s sacred territory. God intervened. For several years, I felt that such heaviness had invaded our land, hearts, hopes, and minds. Resignation was creeping into our spirits. It was lifted Wednesday around 1:00 am. This wasn’t just about a man; all signs pointed to heaven. Our Father was smiling down as if to say, today marks a new beginning, an inflection point in the history of time. It felt like He was saying, grab your childhood collie, Lassie, and run freely through the meadow flowers… school is out. You are free again, and life will never be the same; this is just the beginning.
The atmosphere has shifted. This was more than an election; evil met the Maker, and it was and will continue to be a cosmic beatdown. Be in awe and give thanks for His unfolding plans through His hand-picked cast of characters, including you.
