Sacred Journey Golf Retreat - Utopia, Texas

Planned for the Spring and Fall of '09

Join Dr. David Cook at our Sacred Journey Retreat in Utopia, Texas! This 3 1/2 day retreat will allow you to extend your experience with the book, Golf's Sacred Journey, and will encourage and challenge you in your golf game and your life!

Each day begins along the Sabinal River with teaching by Dr. Cook that will deepen your understanding of the principles found in the book. On the first day, you'll have a chance to use your see/feel/trust routines at the Club at Concan, an acclaimed Texas golf course! After golf, you can compare scorecards and stories during a Texas cowboy dinner at the House Pasture Cattle Company. On the second day, you'll experience a meal at the Lost Maples Café and golf at the Links of Utopia! You'll also have a chance to bury your lies, after a teaching from David at the adjoining Waresville Cemetery. An evening at the The Laurel Tree Restaurant, an amazing five-star restaurant--right in Utopia--will provide a time to share stories and fellowship. By the end of your journey to Utopia, you will be energized and inspired for your sacred journey at home!

All meals, events & and golf rounds are included in the retreat fees. Event will begin on Thursday at dinner and end with breakfast on Sunday morning. (See tentative agenda.) We can arrange for late check out if, you decide to stay later on Sunday.

Accommodations will be arranged for you at local Utopia hotels and are available in single or double occupancy.

Single occupancy Retreat Fee: $1,950    Double Occupancy Retreat Fee: $1,800

A deposit of 1/2 the Fee will be due upon registration, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to the event.

Utopia, Texas is located 1.5 hours from the San Antonio airport and 45 minutes from the Uvalde airstrip. Rental cars are available at both airports.
