After badly blowing his performance at a mini tour event, the main character meets Johnny, a coach with an unorthodox teaching style. For the next seven days, Johnny teaches this pro how to control the mental side of the game so that he could always play at his best. He learns totally unexpected lessons about golf and about life on the driving range, on the green, while fly fishing, in an airplane, and, finally, at a cemetery.

For many readers, this book has brought about a paradigm shift. Readers report seeing their golf game and their lives through new eyes. In fact, most of the books sold now are coming from former readers who purchase the book in bulk so they can give copies to all their friends.
